Travel information

Flying into Glasgow Airport (GLA) is the most convenient option for reaching the city. Glasgow Airport serves domestic and international flights, with connections from major cities worldwide. Glasgow airport is well-connected to the city centre by public transport by buses (500 Airport Express bus). The journey takes approximately 15-30 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs around £30 by taxi.  There is also the option to fly to Edinburgh airport (EDI) and take the tram and train to Glasgow city centre; journey time about 1 hour.

Glasgow is a compact city with excellent public transportation options. The city’s subway system provides efficient travel around the central areas. Additionally, buses and trains offer extensive coverage throughout the city and surrounding areas. Taxis are readily available and can be hailed on the street or booked in advance. For those wishing to explore further afield or venture into the scenic Scottish countryside, car rental services are easily accessible, with several rental companies operating in the city.
